Entrenched in this environment is an authentic Tuscan farm house built around 1670 that offers its guests a simple and elegant countryside experience.

Podere Lavanda is an original farm house estate that has recently been meticulously restored in the traditional style of the Tuscan rural architecture. Now it consists of the main house inhabited by
the owners, and an independent guest house, named Limonaia which together with an adjacent bedroom/bathroom located in the Main House can comfortably accommodate four persons.You'll find all the premises thoroughly renovated and tastefully furnished, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and a nice garden with swimming pool. The hilltop location offers a 360 deg view of a beautiful Tuscan countryside.
The owners can organize wine tours, cooking classes, book restaurants and spas. Most of those services are available within a short distance from the house. Furthermore, they can serve in our kitchen excellent meals; organize parties and celebrations, also if you wish to do that on premises. Nearby thermal swimming pools offer 38 deg warm mineral water, as well as various spa facilities with medical treatment services.
Limonaia is an approx. 55 m2 independent house that offers comfortable accommodation for two. It consists of an airconditioned bedroom with a queen size bed, a private bath and a beautiful great room/kitchen, which features a wood burning pizza/bread oven and opens up to a private a terrace.
Another comfortable accomodation for two is a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a private bathroom, which is located right next door in the Casale. This room has no access to the kitchen and is available to be rented together with the Limonaia.
La Banditella is located in the heart of Italy with a short distance to many desirable tourist locations. From here you can make easy trips to nearby places such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Montalcino,Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Arezzo, Castiglione del Lago (Lago Trasimeno), Perugia, Assisi, Chiusi, Siena, Orvieto, or a bit further away San Giminiano, Voltera, Grosseto, Chianti Region, Florence and the beaches of Mediterranean. You can easily take one day trips by train to Rome or Florence. Many of the towns organize cultural and historical events that are available to
the public.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
Please note that note that welcome packs are not provided by the owners on arrival and that some properties do not provide wine glasses.
