Podere Luciana is a stone house that dates back over 200 years in close proximity to the village of Lisciano Niccone. Its owner, who paid close attention to detail, lovingly restored it maintaining all the rustic elements, such as the traditionally timbered ceiling and the stone chimney. Traditional paintings and artefacts are reflected within the property. There is an extensively large garden available for use by guests, and every apartment has its own individual balcony.
You can sit in a variety of shaded areas whilst the children play football or table tennis in absolute safety. An outdoor barbecue and pizza oven make outside cooking a truly memorable experience.
There is a large pool (14 x 7 meters). A spectacular forest lies adjacent to the property and is a perfect place for a walk for adults and children alike. The forest offers the opportunity to explore nature at is best and is a great place for adventure. In front of the house there is a beautiful view of the surrounding valley and the wooded hills of this breathtaking region.
Please note that the house can only be let as a whole between May & September.
Podere Luciana has three apartments. The largest, Michel Angelo caters for 4-5 persons and is on the ground floor of the house. It has 2 bedrooms, a large living room with fireplace, a bathroom and a small yet well furnished kitchen.
Belvedere and Sole each accommodates for 4-5 persons, access to each of the apartments is via the ground floor. Both apartments offer 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, fireplace, and balcony. The two apartments are connected via doorways that can be opened on request. Heating is available in all of the apartments if required.
The surrounding area has much to offer, including medieval villages, historic castles, and monasteries that all will provide exceptionally memorable viewing. The Closest towns are the renowned Mercatale, Umbertide (which hosts a market every Wednesday), Tuoro, Castiglione del Lago, and also there are regular opportunities to visit the islands of Lago Trasimeno, Cortona, Perugia, Gubbio, Arezzo, Assisi, and Montepulciano. All year round there are numerous festivals in the nearby villages and cities. Information on all these events, in addition to sports, hiking and cycling are freely available in Tuoro or Castiglione at the tourist information centres.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
Please note that note that welcome packs are not provided by the owners on arrival and that some properties do not provide wine glasses.
