Podere Marella is a small farm, founded in 1974 by Fiammetta Inga and situated in the hills close to the Trasimeno Lake on the west coast of Umbria. Surrounded by woods and beautiful scenery, the farm produces red and white table wine I.G.T. as well as Colli del Trasimeno D.O.C. With passion and conviction the owner, fiametta has restored and maintained the original character of one of the most beautiful and precious nature oasis of the area. Those who like to enjoy a holiday in this peaceful and quiet atmosphere are warmly welcomed in the farm's guesthouse. |

| Description: |
Podere Marella is situated in the middle of a vineyard between oak forests and a small lake where there is a small boat available from which you can fish. Guests at Podere Marella will find the experience very relaxing and Fiametta is always happy to show you around the vineyard which produces excellent organic wines which are recognised all over Italy.
Podere Marella can be let as a whole and can sleep 13 persons or a single room can be let if desired. The ground floor is not available to let and all guests will be based on the first floor which is accessed by an external stone stair case offering a wonderful view of the surrounding forests and vineyards.
The Rooms:
Camera 1 (2 + 1 Persons): Bedroom with one double and one single bed & en-suite bathroom.
Camera 2 & 3 (2 Persons): One bedroom with twin beds, which can be placed together if required to make a double. There is a bathroom with shower opposite the room.
Camera 4 (2 Persons): Double bedroom with double bed.
Camera 5 (2 - 4 Persons): One bedroom with twin beds and the possibility to add a further two single beds if required. If you are looking at this option please confirm that this is possible with us first.
The rooms are furnished with traditional antique furniture in a simple yet stylish manor. From the window you can see the vineyards, surrounded by the rolling hills of Umbria. There is one communal kitchen that is shared by all guests and provides a good opportunity to meet your neighbours if you wish. The apartment has a large living room with a fireplace which is surrounded by sofas which invite you to sit and relax.
Casetta Marella (2+2 Persons)
On the grounds of Podere Marella there is also a small cottage which caters for 2-4 persons. The cottage is located some distance from the main house and offers one bedroom, a kitchen with fireplace, living room with two single sofa beds and a newly renovated bathroom with shower. The cottage is simple yet comfortable and the view from the front door is of the oak forests. The house is ideal for a couple looking for an inexpensive holiday in the area.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
Please note that note that welcome packs are not provided by the owners on arrival and that some properties do not provide wine glasses.
