Villa Firenze is situated on the edge of the Calvana Mountains, to the west of the Mugello area and is easily reachable from the motorway exit of Barberino di Mugello off the A1 motorway which is approximately 3 km away. The Villa dates back to the XIV century and is owned by a noble family and still has all the characteristics and charm of a small fortress. The gardens surrounding the villa are surrounded by woodlands, meadows, paths a large garden measuring 3.500 m2 and large pool (6x12) with has night lighting. |

Villa Firenze is a fantasy like Villa with four bedrooms, two living rooms, dining room, snooker room, two bathrooms, two separate W.C’s, and two kitchens. You will discover the impressive fifteenth century building surrounded by a historic Italian park as you make your way up the long driveway.
Once you pass through the wrought-iron gates, you will be guided up the driveway by century old cypress trees which line the way to the villa, where an equally aged chestnut tree protectively offers shade from the sun. You will immediately be drawn to the large terrace-shaped garden, which reveals a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape and scattered throughout the estate, you will find many ancient fountains.
From the forecourt, you reach the inner courtyard through an arch. To the left there is a chapel and to the right a staircase which leads to the superintendent's residence. The 100m² snooker room with its 5m high ceilings welcomes you as you enter the villa, which offers 500 m² of living space and is elegantly furnished with classical antique furniture.
The surrounding countryside offers a variety of opportunities for sightseeing. Approximately 10 km away there is a large reservoir where one may bathe, fish, surf or sail.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
