Podere LeVigne is on the edge of the village Petrignano del Lago (the so-called last bastion of Umbria)and is an ideal location for a large family or a small group. The old house has been beautifully restored and tastefully furnished. There are 5-6 rooms, a large living room/kitchen area with a fireplace and a multi-functional family room offering a beautiful garden.
The position is ideal, in the middle of quiet countryside with a beautiful view over the hills and 5 minutes walk from Petrignano del Lago, a tiny village with two stores, a post-office, a cafe and restaurant.

| Description: |
Tuscany begins several kilometres northwest of here. The magic here is in the many details: handmade clay dishes, antique silverware, terracotta floors, cathedral ceilings, high quality bedding, antique furniture, candle holders, the large fireplace, the stories in the guest book! The large living/kitchen area (ca. 40 m2) is well equipped with everything you need. There is a stereo with cassette player and CD player. There is a comfortable place to sit and play, read, drink wine and have a good discussion!
The Garden has something for everyone. There is a large lawn, trees that offer shade from the sun and is an ideal place from which to observe the sunset over the Umbrian landscape. The creative side of you will want to paint and enjoy the dance room. You will feel at home here. In the garden you can relax, in the sun or shade, read, write, paint, make music, meditate or just chat. Children have space enough to play and without any kind of danger.
Podere Levigne has five bedrooms in all, each can accomodate up to 2-3 persons and some of the rooms are equipped with their own wash basins. The house is divided into two wings, the left and the right wing. The left wing has two bedrooms, one is a double and the other a twin and the right wing has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and a family room with both a double and a single bed.
Each wing of the house has its own bathroom. You may rent a room, a wing, or the entire house. The house is ideal for groups or large families. If desired your meals can be catered for.

Camera 2 & 3 (2 Perasons) has one twin room
Camera 5 (3 Persons) has three single beds
Dwelling (2+1 Persons) has one double bedroom and a single sofabed in the living area a small kitchen / diner and a bathroom with shower.
The Whole House: In total the house can accomodate 15 persons and is excellent value for money for a large group or familiy travelling on a budget.
The position is ideal, in the middle of quiet countryside, with a beautiful view over the hills and only five minutes walk from Petrignano del Lago, a tiny village with two stores, a post-office, a cafe and restaurant. In Petrignano there is also an excellent restaurant with swimming pool that you may use for a small fee on request.
The many nearby sights and cities of Umbria and Tuscany are ideal for an excursion. Lago Trasimeno with its islands, sunbathing spots, hot springs, walking and cycle paths, village festivals, music and theatre productions, cafιs, restaurants, pottery shops and weekly markets are sure to impress you, Just ask your hostess Verena where to go. You you feel like being adventurous then you can rent a bike from Verena for a good price, the terraine is quite flat and ideal.
In addition to the house you can also rent a cosy, small flat (ground floor) for 2 persons with bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen room. (No heating, but a fire place).

| How many Sterling to a Euro |

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
Please note that note that welcome packs are not provided by the owners on arrival and that some properties do not provide wine glasses.
