Dolce Collina 2 is a modern build that has been created in the vanacular. The new swimming pool enjoys beautiful panoramic views across the surrounding countryside to the distant Umbrian mountains. A children's paddling area and ample sunbathing space with umbrellas, loungers and deck-chairs, make this the ideal place for relaxing getaway.
Agriturismo del Pino 2 offers 3 apartments which can be let on their own or if there is a large group of you the property can be let as a whole catering for 12+6 persons. The property is ideal for large family groups or wedding parties as there is a large communal room and kitchen which can host and cater for a number of guests. In addition the facilities also include a fitness gym, bicycles, boccia (traditional Italian game, similar to bowling), table tennis and a nearby lake for anglers. Luigi the owner is only too happy to accompany those who are interested. The owners produce olive oil and red (Sangovese) and white wines which you are welcome to purchase and try.
Foculare: Is on the ground floor (90 m2) and sleeps 6+2 people. It has a living/dining room with fireplace, double sofa bed and corner kitchen , three double bedrooms, two en-suite shower/wc and a further bathroom with shower/wc. The apartment boasts roofed terraces to offer shade from the sun if required.
Beatrice: Is on the ground floor (60 m2) and sleeps 4+2 people. It has a living/dining room with fireplace, double sofa bed and corner kitchen, two double bedrooms, one en-suite bathroom with shower/wc and one bathroom equipped for the disabled. Naturally the apartment has a terrace.
Valentino: Is on the ground floor (45 m2) and sleeps 2+2 people. It has a living/dining room with double sofa bed and corner kitchen, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower/wc.
All of the apartments are beautifully furnished, with wooden furniture, terracotta floors and a typical wooden balcony. The kitchens are well equipped and the sofa beds all come with orthopaedic mattresses.
Castiglione del Lago will act as your main shopping centre and is one of the most beautiful medieval towns by the lake. City gates and walls dating back to the middle ages surround the picturesque old town, which includes a piazza, a fountain, and a castle. There are many restaurants to choose from and the town's exquisite shops have much to offer. There are many smaller shops, selling typical products from the region and 3 large supermarkets. There are excellent transport links from the train station where there are regular services to the main towns and cities of Italy.
Excursions to destinations in Umbria and Tuscany are quickly reached. The information centre in Castiglione del Lago provides numerous brochures and information about the sights and events in the area.
Be sure and visit cities such as Chiusi, Paciano, Cortona, Montepulciano, Montalcino (Sant´Antimo, Gregorian chants) Castiglione del Lago, Passignano del Lago, Perugia, Assisi, and Orvieto.
A comfortable, inexpensive train ride is all that separates you from Chiusi, Terontola, Rome, Florence or Orvieto. Buy regional goods in the village or the surrounding area. Ask for tips about restaurants, - the Umbrian cuisine is recognized as the best in Italy.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
Please note that note that welcome packs are not provided by the owners on arrival and that some properties do not provide wine glasses.
