Our philosophy in our search for beautiful houses has a name- "Special Places". With Casa Francesca this is particularly true. A unique and magical aura surrounds this stone house that dates back to the 17th century. It is located near Fabro, yet stands in a beautifully tranquil location on an Umbrian hilltop surrounded by 2 hectares of meadows and a breathtaking panoramic views of the valleys and hills.
My first experience of Casa Francesca was quite overwhelming as a result of the beauty it offers.
The property offers, two apartments for rent, which have a bedroom, bathroom, spacious living rooms with sofa beds. The kitchen is well furnished with, dishwasher, hob with an electric oven, washing machine and caters for up to six persons
The exclusive apartments, named Lavender and Rosemary, have been restored with a meticulous eye for detail throughout.
The traditional brick arches have each been preserved in all of the doorways, In addition to the exposed stonewalls. The floor is a covered by traditional terracotta tiles and the living area enhanced by the warming colours of the decor.
Every apartment has its own garden space that is shared with the owners of the house, however your privacy will be fully respected. By the pool you will enjoy a fantastic view of the breathtaking Tuscan landscape.
Despite the peace and quiet that the location offers, it is an ideally located for day trips to the numerous historical sights of the region. The house is located equidistant between Lake Trasimeno and Lago di Bolsena, which are both well worth visiting. Orvieto is just a 20-minute drive away and sits proud against the enormous volcanic cliffs, it offers a truly unique cathedral and many small restaurants with excellent prices and quality.

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
