St. Agatha a former is a former manor house which has been extensivly restored and is situated near Tuoro sul Trasimeno with fantastic views over Lago Trasimeno. The "Pietra Serena di Tuoro" stone quarry has been in the family's possession for generations. Artists from all over the world use this stone for their sculptures and much of it has been used in the city of Perugia.
You will encounter luxury here, not least when you take a dip in the swimming pool. From there, you have a wonderful view of Lake Trasimeno, the islands, rolling hills, and the coastal village of Tuoro.
There are eight separate vacation apartments available to let at St. Agatha and all of them will charm you with the wooden beams, exposed stone, terracotta floors, luxurious furnishings and an espresso machines. All of the apartments are well-furnished and each have either one or two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen/living room and a bathroom with WC and shower.
Borgia 3 is spread over two floors, and there is a WC on each floor. One of the apartments is accessible for wheelchair users and there is also a public phone in the house. There is outdoor furniture in the garden and each apartment has its own private area allocated to it so that you can be alone. If you need anything, let Fabio or Lorenzo know. The cousins are proud of their house and gladly accept any suggestions.
In nearby Tuoro there are shops, cafιs, a pharmacy and virtually everything you need.In the summer, a ferry leaves for the islands every half hour. Fabio or Lorenzo can give you more exact information about the departure times of the ferries as well as the markets and festivals in the area.
There are many opportunities for the athletes among you in the immediate vicinity. You may go riding, swimming, play tennis, golf, etc. Parco Monte Castelluccio is a natural park, and is a great place to go for walk or bike ride. St. Agatha is the ideal place from which to go on daytrips to see the many sights and cities of Umbria and Tuscany. These include Cortona, Castiglione del Lago, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Cittΰ della Pieve, Perugia, Assisi, and Gubbio. Rome or Florence can be reached quickly by train from the nearby station. |

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
