| Description: |
On the ground level, there is a large vacation apartment which has two large bedrooms, and one of them allows direct access to the terrace. In addition, there is a very large, comfortable living area where the living room and dining room are divided by a traditional brick archway.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a hob with four electric rings and one gas burner, a refrigerator and a dining table that seats eight. In the bathroom there is a shower, a bidet, and a WC.
Once you step out the apartment door, you will find yourself in the middle of a large garden with shady trees, hammocks, swing, and outdoor furniture. If you are looking for solitude, simply take a chair to the other side of the house or take a walk in the olive groves or just enjoy the pool.
The location offers seclusion with all of the advantages of civilisation. Colle Umberto is located 3 km away and has a bar, a hairdresser and some local shops where you can take care of your basic shopping. In Mantignana, approx. 5 km away, you will find all opf the other shops that you need. This is a larger town which offers most facilities.
Perugia, a young, lively, university city, has much to offer in the way of art and culture and is only 10 km from The Corn Flower House. Gubbio is 35 km away, as is Assisi and Lake Trasimeno is a mere 20 km away. From the lakeside you can swim, take a boat trip to two or three of the islands. The nature Park at Montezio is a great place to fly kites, Cycle, walk or horse ride.
Umbria as well as nearby Tuscany offers many great places to go on day trips. It is worth buying a good travel guide before you set off. There are a lot of tourist information outlets in the surrounding area which are well worth a visit as there are always lots of festivals / markets on in the region. Almost every village in the area has a festival that takes part at sometime time of the year. Pay attention to flyers with the words "Sagra di..."

All holiday home prices are in € per week for the number of people stated in bold unless otherwise stated in € per day. The second number illustrated next to the number of persons who can stay represents the number of additional persons the property can cater for. Sofa beds are provided for additional persons unless it is otherwise stated that additional beds can be made available.
Accommodation weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday and include linen, water, electricity, and gas unless otherwise stated. The heating costs and housekeeping fees are paid directly to the landlord and are dependent on usage. **Please be aware heating costs are expensive in Italy**.
Almost all landlords require a security deposit between 100 € and 250 € and for some of the more exclusive properties the deposit can be as much as 1000 €. The full balance of the deposit will be returned at the end of stay provided that the property is in the same condition and that are no damaged or broken items. All linens should be returned in the same number and unsoiled on departure. Terre Vitae reserve the right to request the balance due for any items that have been damaged and that have not been disclosed to the caretaker as a part of the contract signed prior to departure.
